Summer – the time of the year for relaxation, holidays, spending time with family, friends and for alfresco happy hours in the sun. Bliss.
The reality, for some however, is quite different. Summer doesn’t necessarily signify a break. With kids to entertain, the pressures of a rapidly expanding social calendar, work commitments and the general challenges of life running alongside the ongoing pandemic, it’s no surprise that some feel drained.
On top of that, it often seems that by the time we are able to unwind a touch, the kids are heading back to school and the autumn routines start again.
So, whether it’s feeling distracted, overwhelmed, lacking motivation or a combination of them all, here are a few suggestions to help blow away that burnout feeling and to get you ready to return to work.
Multi-Antioxidant with Q10Co-enzyme
Q10 increases energy by facilitating the conversion of carbohydrates into energy, and improves blood circulation.
We can’t store Vitamin C, so we need daily replenishment. It alleviates fatigue by aiding with the production of thyroxine, and it also reduces muscle pain if you are getting back to an exercise regime.
Magnesium improves energy levels via ATP production. It delivers oxygen and nerve impulses to muscles and increases the capacity for prolonged exercise by up to 50%. It’s essential for proper nerve function too, and deficiency is linked to mood swings, anxiety, stress and poor concentration. It also promotes better sleep patterns so is particularly helpful if you are struggling with insomnia.
Vitamin B Complex
A very effective ‘pick-me-up’ if you are feeling a bit drained. B vitamins work well when taken together and our Vitamin B Complex contains all the B vitamins which help reduce tiredness and fatigue.
If you have over-indulged during the summer, this will improve digestion, which in turn will provide you with more energy and improve the immune system.
The perfect ‘brain food’ to help you concentrate and improve your memory. Ours is made from whole crushed fish with the livers removed to prevent toxicity.
We know we can’t take all of the stress out of summer, but we can certainly help!
