Cancer rates set to increase by 40% in next 20 years

As a society, we have pretty much accepted cancer as an inevitability, which is tragic really. An ageing population will certainly contribute to this statistic, but so will a number of other things:

  • Nutritional deficiency: Our farm soils are desperately depleted of the essential nutrients that provide our immune responses and protect us from chronic disease

  • Unhealthy lifestyles: It goes without saying that smoking, drinking, lack of exercise and poor diet will contribute to increasing cancer risk

  • Chemotherapy: This outdated and ineffective treatment remains the medical standard in cancer treatment. It is over 70 years old and has never been able to boast any sort of success rate. When people lose their battle we are inclined to say that they have died of cancer when the reality is, a considerable percentage will die from chemotherapy. This short video from Dr. Peter Glidden explains it very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdLyMhNdcSc

  • Antioxidants: Research has shown that a number of antioxidants will help in preventing cancer. Selenium (a micro-mineral) in particular is known to be very effective in preventing cancer, including breast cancer and prostate cancer. Recent US research on Selenium has predicted that if young women took 200mcg of Selenium a day, within 1 generation we could eliminate 82% of breast cancer

This is cheap insurance against cancer and our foodstate Selenium is available as an individual product or as part of our Multi-Antioxidant, which also contains Vitamin c, vitamin e, co-enzyme Q10 and Zinc
