We’re all aware of the importance of exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle. And if you overdid it a touch during the festive period, you may have been itching to get back to the gym.
During January, millions of us around the world aimed to get fitter and healthier. We started the year highly motivated and with the best of intentions to increase our energy levels. But, we know that staying motivated is the biggest problem in health and fitness. By now, some of us are either feeling one or two niggling pains, lacking enthusiasm, or are just plain hungry!
So, here are a few helpful tips and products to support your body, as you either embark on, or continue an exercise regime:
Join a club
Joining a club is a commitment and leads to people being more active than those who are not.
Set goals
Setting a goal can help massively. Signing up for a race or setting an exercise plan to get healthier for an upcoming holiday is a great start. The commitment to reaching the goal will help you get out of bed on those dark mornings.
Mix it up
Mixing up the sports you do can be extremely beneficial. People who mix up their sports end up dramatically multiplying their overall efforts and avoid the boredom that can set in by just treadmill running, for example.
Find a friend
People who exercise with others increase their average effort and are able to maintain higher motivation levels than people who exercise on their own.
Start early
If possible, train in the morning. People who are most regularly active, are likely to exercise in the morning.
Organic Pea Protein
Pea Protein is the richest plant-based protein available and is wonderfully good for you. It is suitable for everyone including athletes, vegans, vegetarians and those wishing to diet. You can even bake with it! It’s hypoallergenic, easily digested and lactose-free. It helps you stay full for longer and is low in carbohydrates, but has about 25g of protein in every scoop. That’s the same amount found in a high quality whey protein powder.
Glucosamine
We naturally manufacture the nutrient Glucosamine to support our joints, but our production of it diminishes from the age of about 40. Glucosamine Hydrochloride (Glucosamine HCL) as a food supplement is a form of glucosamine, now preferred by the medical profession for long term use. When there is excess wear, more ‘raw material’ is needed to help regenerate and maintain cartilage and tissue.
Joint & Bone Support Formula
A special foodstate formula providing nutrients that contribute to the normal structure of bones and teeth and help support muscle function. This multi-nutrient has been designed to support every aspect of the joint, the muscles, ligaments, tendons and cartilage.
Enoceride
Enoceride is rich in marine collagen and is a very effective beauty supplement that is scientifically proven to help maintain good skin condition. However, its special formula of foodstate vitamins and minerals also features extracts of a marine origin that contribute to the body's supply of collagen and elastin. This supports cartilage and can help with cartilage re-growth over time.
Hope this helps to keep you moving and to maintain the momentum heading into spring!
